Having stayed in Cairo for 11 months it was quite natural that I took a liking to The River Nile and the magical and mystical Nile Cruise. That led me to wonder what would it be like to have a Coovam Cruise!
Why not?
Yup! Coovam is pretty dirty, stinks like hell and is not the kind of river you put a boat on and expect people to have a good time.
But then that can and should change!
Just look at the possibilities....
You can get a grand tour of a good part of Chennai in a swanky boat that slithers its way through the Life-Line of Chennai (trust me, if Coovam is cleaned up it sure will be the Life-Line).
On the deck we could have the Traditional Chennai Music and dance - therukoothu, villupattu, Gaanaa, kutthu-paatu, dabbankoothu with traditional food.
Seems like a wierd dream; but something tells me it could be one of the star attractions of our Singaara Chennai!
